Eric Clack has over 13 years of experience in the software development industry, working at IBM, Quidnunc, Find a Property, and running Bright Interactive. Eric's skills range from programming in object oriented languages such as Java and C++, through information architecture in XML, XSLT and SQL, through to photography and graphic design with PhotoShop and Illustrator.
Eric studied at Warwick University where he graduated with a 1st class honours degree in Computer Science.
Martin Wilson has over 13 years experience in the software development industry, gained while working at Quidnunc, running Bright Interactive and managing Asset Bank, Bright Interactive's digital asset management application. His experience covers all aspects of the architecture, design and project management of high performance websites. His background includes a wide range of programming languages (including Java and C++), databases, Java Application Servers and the implementation of Content Management Systems.Martin studied at Warwick University where he graduated with a 1st class honours degree in Computer Science.
Kevin Bennett joined Bright Interactive in December 2006 and is a member of our software development team.
Kevin graduated in 2006 with an Msc from the University of Sussex. He also gained a 1st class honours degree in Computer Science from the University of Kent. As part of his course, he undertook an industrial placement year with IBM.
Paul Bennett joined Bright Interactive in August 2008. He previously gained experience as a web developer at American Express and his skills include: Semantic XHTML, CSS, Javascript, W3C Standards, Accessibility, and Java.
Paul studied at the University of Sussex and achieved a BSc (hons) in Computer Science with Management Studies and a MSc (with Merit) in Information Technology for E-commerce.
Tom Brown joined Bright Interactive in June 2008 and is a member of our software development team, with skills including: Java, Python and JavaScript.
Tom studied at the University of Sussex where he achieved a 1st class degree in Computer Science.
Ben Browning has over 6 years experience in web development, working at Royal & SunAlliance and Accenture before joining Bright Interactive. His skills cover: XHTML, CSS, W3C standards and accessibility, Javascript, graphics manipulation and flash.
Ben studied at Reading University where he graduated with a 1st class masters degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Steve Bryan has worked for over 10 years in software development, at Quidnunc and University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate before joining Bright Interactive. His experience covers development and deployment of high performance, secure websites, and integration with Content Management Systems. His experience of development technologies includes SQL, Java, J2EE and Python.
Steve studied at Cambridge University where he graduated with an honours degree in Mathematics, and at Birmingham University where he gained an MSc with distinction in Computer Science.
James Dacosta has 6 years experience as a web designer/developer. His skills include W3C standards and accessibility, PHP, MySql, Actionscript and user interface design.
James studied at the University of Kent, Canterbury where he graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Multimedia Technology and Design.
Matt Stevenson is one of our technical leads, working on the build activities on our projects. Having worked in software development for 9 years, his skills include: Java, ASP.NET (C#), Python, Perl, object oriented design and database design.Matt studied at Sussex University where he graduated with a 1st class honours degree in Computer Science.
Matt Woollard joined Bright Interactive in September 2007 and is a member of our software development team. Prior to this Matt worked in web development at American Express whilst studying for a masters in Information Technology for E-Commerce.
Matt graduated in 2007 being awarded a distinction for his MSc from the University of Sussex. He also gained a 1st class honours degree in Computer Science and Business Studies from the University of Warwick.
James Bates is a senior digital creative with over 9 years commercial experience. He has a strong ability to think conceptually and a proven track record of producing outstanding creative results. To compliment his creative talents, he also has a solid strategic and technical ability, offering valuable experience at all stages of a project.
James studied at the Plymouth College of Art and Design where he received a HND in Graphic Design and then at the University of Wales Institute, Cardiff where he graduated with a BA (hons) in Graphic communication.
Caroline Collyer works in personnel and business administration for Bright Interactive. She is responsible for the business processes that are designed to support our consultants in delivering successful, high quality projects. She has nearly 20 years of experience in human resources management consultancy. Caroline is also involved in sales for Asset Bank.
Caroline studied at Birmingham University and has a BA (hons) in English Literature and Language with Psychology.
Michael Denney joined Bright Interactive in August 2008 as a member of our customer support team. With over 3 years customer support experience, Michael manages the day to day support of many of our existing support clients, and is responsible for providing high quality support to our website customers by ensuring a timely response to defects and changes.
Michael studied at University of Brighton where he achieved a 1st class honours degree in Business Studies.
Meg Green is a website co-ordinator and also manages the Support and Quality departments for our website projects. She has over 6 years experience in Customer Support and provides day to day support for new projects and ongoing account management for our existing clients.
Meg has a BA in English from Indiana University and an MA in Studies in Fiction from the University of East Anglia.
Elizabeth Morris joined Bright Interactive in February 2008 as our office administrator and also manages the day to day support for our Asset Bank clients. Elizabeth brings previous web experience to her role and provides high level support, handling incoming support queries and change requests.
Elizabeth studied at Goldsmiths, University of London, where she achieved a BA (hons) in Textiles Visual Arts.
